Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is a administrative department set up and authorized by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China. It is a law enforcement and foreign trade supervision department in charge of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine of Beijing. It is an incorporation of the former Beijing Health Quarantine Bureau, the former Beijing Animal and Plant Quarantine Bureau, and the former Beijing Import & Export Commodities Inspection Bureau. It is responsible for the entry-exit health quarantine, animal and plant quarantine, and import-export commodities inspection, identification, attestation and supervision.
