To implement Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention of Environmental Pollution Caused by Solid Wastes, and to prevent the secondary pollution caused by storage and disposal sites of general solid wastes, this Standard is prepared.

本标准规定了一般工业固体废物贮存、处置场的选址、设计、运行管理、关闭与封场、以及污染控制与监测等内容。

This Standard includes the contents of addressing, design, operation management, shutdown and closure of general industrial solid waste storage and disposal sites, and as well as pollution control, monitoring, etc.

本标准适用于新建、扩建、改建及已经建成投产的一般工业固体废物贮存、处置场的建设、运行和监督管理；不适用于危险废物和生活垃圾填埋场影音翻译。

This Standard is applicable to construction, operation and monitoring of general industrial solid storage and disposal sites newly established, expanded, reconstructed and put into operation; whereas, it’s not applicable to landfill of hazardous wastes and domestic wastes.
